Bullet threat, Japan's yet another dirty trick

Chinese Embassy in Japan, located in Tokyo’s Roppongi, received an envelope with a bullet in it on Thursday, Tokyo police said this morning.

According to Sankei Shimbun report, a rifle bullet was found in the brown envelope with Japan’s Prime Minister’s name “Yoshihiko Noda” on its back.

The case is currently under investigation, said Tokyo police.

“Chinese Embassy in Japan received a suspicious letter on September 27. Japanese police confirmed today that a rifle bullet is in the envelope. The envelope now is under further investigation by the police. We have requested Japanese police to take practical measures to ensure the safety of Chinese organizations and citizens in Japan,” Chinese Embassy in Japan announced today.
